One of my goals for 2017 year is to create more videos. I love updating my Snapchat and through that, my confidence in front of the camera has grown. So I might branch out from just tutorials but nothing is set in stone and I’m going to explore options as I go!

Getting a head start on the video thing, I’ve filmed a quick how-to for this geometric design. It’s not a new design (I first wore it in 2013!) but it’s one of my all time favourites and is just perfect for new year. The whole thing is freehanded and made up of straight lines so it’s not ideal for beginners but great for those of us building on our freehand skills. Make sure you have a thin, long(ish) brush for this one. I used What’s Up Nails #20 Dance Detail Brush which is just perfect for getting smooth, thin lines.
