It would seem that I'm hell-bent on trying every possible colour combination for gradient nails and I may even venture in to 3 colours soon. I've been insanely uninspired when it comes to nail art recently, despite having plenty of new tools and colours to play with. It's almost like I'm so overwhelmed with choice that my brain just frizzles every time I think about it! So I'm sorry for the simple/boring nail art I've been sporting recently and hopefully things will pick up soon!

ReplyDeleteGradients are lovely, and you do a great job. I know exactly what you mean about being paralyzed by choice! Sometimes I just have no idea what kind of colors I'm really "feeling" at the moment.

ReplyDeleteDear Nailasaurus (I would call you Sammy but that seems too informal lolol), please stop being so perfect for a while so that all the other nails bloggers won't look so bad in comparison? I mean seriously, your nails are perfect... haha but yeah, I would love to see more colors in your gradients, you do them SO well. :D
ReplyDeleteI just had a Rossoholic relapse binge spree earlier today and I know what you mean about too many choices. I bought 6 sets of polish and I love them ALL!!! I love how you do gradients though, they're so pro.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad even you the Nailasaurus feels like that too! Sometimes I find that I have so many lovely new things to try out freak out and end up painting my nails a block colour. And then I see some amazing designs on nail blogs (like yours) and feel guilty!! Really getting into your blog at the moment and now feeling much more inspired than usual! So thank you!

ReplyDeleteSammersaurus, gorgeous nails; another term for gradient is "Ombre"; some great images if you google 'ombre fashion'
ReplyDeleteOmbre n. A French term meaning "shaded." Usually a multicolored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark.
