31DC2013 Day 10: Gradient

So today is the last of what you might call the 'easy' challenges. From here on out it's hardcore nail art time! This is actually my 3rd gradient in the challenge to date. I've been pretty bad at planning, or even glancing, ahead so far! I must admit, this is my favourite of the bunch. It looks good enough to drink, like a sickly sweet cocktail. Mmmmm... cocktails!

The lighter colour that I used for the base is A-England Princess Tears and I created the gradient with A-England Rose Bower. There's a gradient tutorial here with detailed instructions.
I used one coat of Sally Hansen Dries Instantly as my top coat.

  2. Even though you do a lot of gradients, I don't get tired of them. You do such a good job and I love seeing what polishes and colours you put together. This one is especially stunning; I bet it looks amazing in the sun.

  12. Gorgeous! I've been pretty bad with planning ahead as well with my challenge. But this morning I actually sat down and really thought about it. Things get more intense from this point and I want to be as ready as I can be!

  20. I also never get tired of seeing your gradient nail designs. This one and the metallic from day 8 challenge are my current favorites.

**Side Note** I'd appreciate some hints on getting the stamping straight on your nails. I tried a lace design the other day and it was a diagonal lace design. :-) I painted over it.

Anyway -- great job as always. Keep it up!
