I've been meaning to do some galaxy nails for aaaaages! Whenever I'm in the process of doing this nail art, I'm always super disappointed with the way it looks so sometimes I give up before I've even finished. I have to remember that it never looks good until that final layer of glitter goes on and you take a proper look at them from further away.
The base colour is Look Beauty's Nail Pop in Glamrock and the colours I used for sponging are Barry M White, Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream and A-England Princess Tears.
I used NYC Starry Silver Glitter for some extra cosmicness and finally added some Holographic Glequins before applying my Cult Nails Wicked Fast top c

ReplyDeleteI love that your background isn't black but red-pinkish and glittery, haha. Really nice shot!

ReplyDeleteThis is one of the nicest galaxy mani's I've seen, the fuchsia glitter base looks awesome. I'm always amazed at how smooth your nail surface looks. I never get such a smooth result when I add multiple layers, especially irregular ones like glitters or sponging.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I love the whole Galaxy Nails trend, and you've done a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Looking at this manicure really makes me want to watch Star Wars! ;)

I love your take on galaxy nails. If ever I'm short on inspiration I come here and always get ideas. Tonight I just couldn't decide what to use, despite having so many untrieds *blush*, I was looking through your A England posts and now I'm very happy with my Avalon mani :) so thanks!
ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS think my galaxy nails look a big ol' mess...until I get some glitter and a good top coat on them. It never ceases to amaze me the wonders that top coat achieves...just pulls everything together so nicely. These are lovely! And thanks so much for your great blog. It's a great source of inspiration for me :)
ReplyDeleteThese are sooo cool, I love the galaxy look!
