    Purple Paisley

I have finally published the page I promised a little while back with a list of the regular polishes I use for stamping
You can click on the link above (just under the banner) to see it, or just click here. As I mention, I think a lot of the polishes are discontinued, but you may have some luck in finding them if you search really hard like I did for my Sally Hansen Chromes!

    Manhattan 610K

Sorry it’s taken me so long, but here is the Manhattan 610K that is making its way round the globe thanks to Kesha from Nail Polish Obsession. Keep reading to see who this polish will be visiting next.
I love this colour and obviously would love to keep it for myself but that’s against the rules of the game. It’s a great formula and goes on in two coats and dries quickly to give a bold, regal purple. There’s no top coat in the picture, it’s also uber shiny!

    Base Colour: Manhattan – 610K
Konad Colour: Sally Hansen Chrome – Amber

Since the formula is very opaque, I decided to see how it would work as a stamping polish on my accent finger. I used Collection 2000 Hot Looks in Dynasty as a base. I would rate it as 4/5 for its opacity as a stamping polish.

Jenny at Polishology in the US is the lucky lady that will be receiving the polish next. Sorry to the other ladies who put their name in but be sure to follow the chase and I’m sure you will get it at some point on its journey.

I think this was a great idea from Kesha and I hope the polish makes its way back to Europe at some point too.

E.L.F Purple Pleaser Swatch (and with Konadding)

Here is E.L.F’s Purple Pleaser. This comes very close to the colour I was expecting when I ordered Punk Purple last time which I was very disappointed with. But this colour definitely makes up for the disappointment.

So if you are buying one of these purples from E.L.F be aware that this is Purple Pleaser and Punk Purple looks dull pink IRL.
Then I added some stamping to the colour but I think it looked better before.

    Flower Power

You may notice that my post is a little later than normal today. I spent most of my day at the house I am renting this year and shopping for decor to go inside it!
I was a bit disappointed when I first moved my stuff in as it hadn’t been cleaned properly and had a miserable feel to it, I think because it was empty and really seemed hollow. But now that me and the other girls are filling it with stuff and making it a bit more homely, I think it looks and feels much nicer.
I also received some great news last night. I passed the exam I had to resit last month so I get to progress to the next year of my course! Phew! I’m sooo happy now!

Oh no… not another matte mani?

Correct – it isn’t. It’s back to shiny today 😀
I actually did a mani almost identical to this, just with slightly different polishes, just after I started this blog. You can see it here. Look how much my nails have changed!!

    Blackberry Beauty

This is another polish from yesterday’s haul. You can’t see in this picture but it has tiny sparkles in it so it looks amazing on its own too.

    Base Colour: No7 – Blackberry
Konad Colour: Miss Sporty – Zodiac
Top Coat of NYC and a little pearly sticker on my ring finger 🙂

    Anemenemonemy?

    Title inspired by NEMO!!
I never thought to use the Sally Hansen Chromes as a base before because I prefer ‘flat’, some might say boring, colours but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed wearing this.
