    Brace Yourselves… Spring Is Coming

So even though today was kind of a nail fail, I have to post them anyway due to blogging withdrawal. I swear if I don’t post these today I’ll be up all night stressing about not posting for 3 days!
Today’s mani is continuing with the theme of sunny weather and bright summer colours. I’m not sure if there’s a problem with my stamping plates, scraper, stamper or I’ve just lost my stamping skills because I couldn’t get anything to go right for me today! In the end I settled for this patchy excuse of a stamping manicure.

P.S. If you know where the reference in the title comes from, I’ve got some cool nail art coming up (provided I can get it right) relating to a very exciting event taking place this weekend!

    Halloween Nail Art!

I wasn’t originally planning to do any Halloween nails but I had a Twitter request so of course, I had to oblige!
I used Miss Sporty Orange and Rimmel Black Satin as my base colours.
The stamps are from Bundle Monster plates BM224 and BM223 and I used white acrylic paint to freehand the skeleton.

    Broken Nailed

Consider this a slightly early Pink Wednesday post!
My nails are in a sorry state at the moment due to my dwindling supply of OPI Nail Envy. I need a new bottle and I normally save my credit on Valued Opinions to buy it on Amazon but I’ve recently neglected my account so I need to do a few more surveys before I have enough virtual pennies.
I’ve been meaning to write a review of the Nail Envy for a while and this shortage has reminded me how much I love it and need to tell you all about it! Basically, it’s the sole reason I have been able to grow my nails and keep them long, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Base Colour: Cult Nails – Iconic
    Konad Colour: Miss Sporty Zodiac

    Got Daisies?

This is my favourite so far of all the ones I’ve done with the new Bundle Monster plates. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out when I decided to add a bit of extra detail by filling in the flowers. Sometimes, especially if I pick a bad colour, details like that can make things look overdone but this isn’t one of those times.
I wouldn’t expect that green/blue to compliment the purple shades as well as it does but it’s just one of those lucky combinations that works without even trying.

    Stamp Colour: GOSH Metallic Purple
China Glaze Adore applied with a brush for the centres of the flowers
