E.L.F Purple Pleaser Swatch (and with Konadding)

Here is E.L.F’s Purple Pleaser. This comes very close to the colour I was expecting when I ordered Punk Purple last time which I was very disappointed with. But this colour definitely makes up for the disappointment.

So if you are buying one of these purples from E.L.F be aware that this is Purple Pleaser and Punk Purple looks dull pink IRL.
Then I added some stamping to the colour but I think it looked better before.

    Konad Plate: M64
    Base Colour: E.L.F. Purple Pleaser
    Konad Colour: Miss Sporty Zodiac

    E.L.F Innocence Swatch

I’ve been searching for a good, affordable polish for ‘Mannequin’ hands for a while now. It ended up as a competition between E.L.F’s Innocence and Desert Haze but many bloggers have said that the Desert Haze has a hint of brown and I wanted a flesh tone.
So here it is… E.L.F Innocence. I used 4 coats but I think 3 would have been fine if I didn’t have yellow nails underneath. There’s no topcoat in the picture, it’s a pretty shiny polish by itself.
Please excuse the broken first finger.
I really like this colour. It’s just what I’ve been looking for and at this price it’s a steal!

Brown Comparison – E.L.F Smoky Brown vs. Barry M Mushroom

When I got home with my haul a few days ago which included Barry M Mushroom, I realised that it’s really similar to E.L.F. Smoky Brown Which I already have! Darn it, I could have bought Blueberry Ice Cream which I’ve been drooling over for aaages!
So here is my first comparison post! There’s not much to compare though, since the two are practically exactly the same, the Barry M is just slightly more creamy coloured.
They are great dupes for each other so if you are looking for a shade like this, I suppose it just depends which brand you prefer.
I personally prefer the E.L.F because the brush is wider and flatter, making application easier in my opinion. But if you like your brushes round and slim, go for the Barry M.

    Exciting News

My Swap package arrived from Canada thanks to the lovely Emily over at Nail Junkie. It was sooo exciting. I’ve been waiting over two weeks for it to arrive so it was great fun finally getting to open it!!
    Left to Right
    Claire’s Mood – Peaceful/Confident
    Essie – Matte About You
    Claire’s Mood – Flirty/Shy
Here are the mood colours on the nail. Peaceful/Confident is good match for the Rimmel Sky High that I mentioned I saw and wanted yesterday.

    Thanks Emily!

A few more pictures of GOSH Holographic (Swatches)

Here are some better pictures of the GOSH Holographic polish I got on the weekend. Monday’s post didn’t really show it in all its Holographic Glory.

This time, I applied it without using a base coat, which I read to do somewhere, and it was a much easier application.
Sorry, but I couldn’t get a good video on my crappy old digicam and my SLR doesn’t take them.
