No7 Galaxy with Galaxy Nail Art

After seeing No7 Galaxy on Brit Nails, I knew I had to have it. It took a few weeks of casual searching, but I finally found one in stock although I'm two months behind all the cool kids who knew about this beautiful shade way back in January! I felt it only fitting today to use it as a base for some galaxy nail art.

For this nail art, I used No7 Galaxy as my base colour.

For the galaxy, I used a make-up sponge with China Glaze Tarty for the Part-y, Sally Hansen Lively Lilac, Barry M Pearl and a sprinkling of piCture pOlish Altered State.

I used white acrylic paint with a nail art brush for the star details.

There's Galaxy Nail Art Tutorial here.

It's all finished off with a coat of Glisten and Glow HK Girl.

  14. Beautiful Sammy. I so wanted to do galaxy nails with galaxy but I daren't as it would have been my first attempt and I didn't want to mess up the beauty of a Galaxy by no 7 xx

  15. I am tempted to order Galaxy from the Boots website now but the swatch on the website is incorrect which makes me nervous :-/ I guess this is a dupe for Chanel Taboo which would be more accessible for me at stores here in the US. Love your galaxy mani! I have been meaning to try one with Zoya Payton as a base :-)

  16. This is gorgeous.... May I ask you a question about your Galaxy? I bought mine a couple of months ago (yup, Brit Nails!) and have tried to wear it twice. It just seems really thick to me, and, by the time I've got three coats on for opacity, it just looks a gloopy mess. Is yours quite thick too? Do you have any advice for me in applying it? Thanks so much for all your inspiration! Margaret C
