This nail art is a little different from the kind if stuff you normally see here. I wasn't really sure if I liked it at first but after wearing it for a few hours I've come round and decided it's quite an interesting look. I think it looks a lot like camo print in groovy colours and I'm not going to reveal exactly how I did it today because there's a tutorial coming later in the week. I used one tool to complete the look and it wasn't a nail brush. I'd love to hear your guesses, I think you'll be surprised when you find out what it is!
Polishes used:
China Glaze Tart-y For The Party
China Glaze Sunday Funday
China Glaze Pink-ie Promise
Barry M Gelly Blueberry
Barry M Gelly Greenberry
Seche Vite Top Coat

I would say dotting tool?

ReplyDeletehm, did you create this using a spray? :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks fantastic ☼ Love the color combos. Is it just the brushes from the original colors? Can't wait for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteYour fingers? Hahaha idk, but love the color combo!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...I'm think either a straw or a dotting tool.

This is cool, I really like it!! I think the colours you chose are perfect too. I wanna guess you used a dotting tool for this?
ReplyDeleteBlow dryer? Cute!
ReplyDeleteAaaw! This manicure screams spring time to me! Absolutely love it

Yo used a bobby pin rightttt?? :)
ReplyDeleteStraw
ReplyDeletei love it!! and i would guess spraying using a straw
ReplyDeleteI don't think you used a dotting tool but I'd struggle to guess what you did use...maybe an unusual sponge-type thing or kitchen roll or something. So enigmatic.
ReplyDeletelove it! glass eye dropper?
ReplyDeleteI know, I know, I know! Is it cling film?
ReplyDeletestraw!
ReplyDeleteLove this! It reminds me of blow glass....I really don't know what the technique of glass it is I'm talking about, but I've seen lots of glass products with this kinda look to it. Though instead of a solid background color, its clear, obviously, since its glass. Wish I knew what I was talking about, lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing a makeshift dotting tool--a hairpin maybe? Or a toothbrush :). No matter, I'm excited to find out!
ReplyDeleteHairspray and water?
ReplyDeleteMaybe an eraser? or a straw? I have no idea, but I can't wait to see a tutorial! :)
ReplyDeleteNo one has guessed plastic bag yet so I'm going with that. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to agree with a few others and say straw or spray bottle! I love this though! It looks spring-y!
ReplyDeleteMaybe small pieces of Saran Wrap? Very cute!
ReplyDeletemaybe a toothbrush? love the design.
ReplyDeleteThis is so nice! I can't wait for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteI think it wasn't dotting tool, not straw, not plastic bag, not water marble kind of thing... But I can't figure it out. So I'll be waiting for the answer.
so cool! & my guess is either a toothbrush or a straw :)
ReplyDeletereally pretty! it looks just like a modern art painting!
ReplyDeleteAhh, so pretty! Can't wait for the tutorial. :D
ReplyDeleteLove this!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a groovy manicure. I love guessing things but I suck at them. I'll still have a go though. A straw? Lol
ReplyDeleteOh, that's gorgeous! Hmm... I was going to say dotting tool, but clearly that's too easy. I'm going to say you used... A SHRUBBERY!
ReplyDeleteThat looks very cool! I love the colors you used.
ReplyDeleteVery fun and the colors are great!!
ReplyDeleteWas it the toothbrush trick?
ReplyDeleteI really love this nail design though, I will be trying it myself when the tutorial is uploaded! :)
I'm with TheBeauBow...toothbrush?
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Sammy.
Interesting, love the colors! Cant wait for tutorial, because i think i saw similar before but don't remember now..
ReplyDeleteKisses, Cooki
I really like this! I'm thinking straw or Q-tip?
ReplyDeleteDid you use the brush that comes with the paint? I'm sure this is too obvious but I have to guess this :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool idea! Can't wait for the tutorial
Super cute design, I really love the colors. =)
ReplyDeleteit looks awesome... i can't really tell how you did it o__O
ReplyDeletetutorial please!!! :D
Some sort of dotting tool- like a tooth pick, bobby pin, or real dotting tools? Looks great though!
ReplyDeleteI want to say a straw, which I've seen used before in splattered nails. I tried it once myself, and it was difficult and certainly didn't turn out this lovely. But I might have been doing it wrong!!
ReplyDeletePlease update it more often as I find it very professional and informative for your visitors. This topics is my interest. Thank you very much sir. . .

Plastic bag :) you painted a few dots of polish and them "squashed" them on the nail with a plastic bag. I did something like this once, when I saw a tutorial on youtube, can't remember by whom though.
ReplyDeleteI say cotton bud (or, as we Americans say it, Q-Tip.) Don't ask me why, but that's the first thing that came into my head. Plus I just saw a tutorial with a person using one.
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteI think you used a hairdryer.
ReplyDeleteI yhink you used saran wrap. Am I right???
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing toothpick!
ReplyDeletewow i really love it !
