I've been dreading today since before we even started the challenge. Water Marbling and I are just not friends, never have been, probably never will be! I love the way it looks so much but I've never been able to do it to much success.
I gave it my best shot but after an hour of trying, I was really starting to lose my patience. I even dropped my black polish in the water which was just the last straw and I had to let out a very loud growl of frustration! I don't think it's worth sacrificing my sanity for the sake of some nail art so I had to settle for just an accent nail.
For the accent finger, I painted on a base coat of Barry M White and used Wet n Wild White and W7 Black for the marbling. I'm wearing A-England Bridal Veil on my index finger and W7 Black on the others.
Perhaps the other ladies had better luck than I did with their water marbles today!

This is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe accent looks great Sammy I especially like how the black swirls in with the white in the inside layer of the marble, if you know what I mean lol!
ReplyDeletec'est très jolie et sur un seul ongle c'est parfait, bravo pour le choix des vernis
ReplyDeleteI think the 2 accent nails are really pretty!

ReplyDeletethis looks fantastic! i think i wanna do the same thing now :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised that it stayed black and didn't turn grey on you. It's still very pretty. :)
I'm sure this wasn't intentional, but I love how the black of the water marble looks like it's a sketch. Like it's a pencil drawing. Water marbling can be frustrating. Each time I do one I run into some problem. It definitely takes practice. This mani looks fantastic though!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I like how it's just on an accent nail and also with the glitter.
ReplyDeleteAmy

I LOVE this mani!! Very classic, clean and beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI am really liking the idea of doing just the accent nail. I have a hard time with water marbeling due to the time and how messy it is. I hate having stuff on my hands so it is a very hard process for me. I may just have to try this idea.
ReplyDeleteReading this post is really awesome experience. i gain really informative information. really appreciate this blogger..
