This post is a bit out of the ordinary for this blog. The theme is still nail art but it doesn't feature any new creations, it's a compilation post. Ladies and gentlemen, I present 'Alot Of Nail Art'.
Twitter ♥ Bloglovin' ♥ Tumblr
The Alot is the creation of a very talented blogger called Allie Brosh. Sickened by the torrential amount of bad grammar and lack of appreciation for the english language she encounters on the internet every day, she shared her way of dealing with the rage she feels when she sees the word (which is not even a word) 'alot' written by users all over the internet.
If you don't know the story of the Alot, you have to click here to read it. SRSLY, click it, you will laugh your undergarments off. If you already know the story, *fist bump* to you my meme loving friend!
So anyway. I have been meaning to make this 'graphic', if you will, for a long time and I finally found some time to sit down and do it this evening. I hope you like it as much as I do!

This. Is. Brilliant! 'Alot' is one of my biggest pet peeves (along with 'allot' which people will argue is correct because "spell check says so"), so I love the Alot...well, alot ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! This is perfect, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI like this alot! :) Her blog is hilarious! That post is one of my favorites of hers.
ReplyDeleteBahaha I like this 'alot' ;)

ReplyDeletei meant i love you ALOT!
ReplyDeleteLmao, I love Alot! I already had to laugh when I saw the title of this post popping up on my blogroll, hoping it would be what I thought it was :D Awesome!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteI am one of those who use alot-and really need to stop-I am also lazy when I'm typing on my computer that does not have auto correct so apostrophes are left out alot!
ReplyDeleteI had alot of fun with this :D but really, being to lazy to type a lot? I do make mistakes but that's just dumb :P.
ReplyDeleteI love Allie Brosh ALOT. Why does she not post everyday? Makes me so sad. I check her blog alot.
ReplyDeleteahah! that's funny alot ;) and I laughed like a mad reading Allie's post!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. So funny, I read about the 'alot' a year ago or so. I have great difficulty dealing with poor grammar on the internet as well. A typo here and there can be easily missed, although with spell check it should not be missed. But poor grammar makes my toes curl.
ReplyDeleteROFL, this is brilliant :D I love Allie's blog so I giggled already when I saw your post title :D
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I've read some Hyperbole and a Half before, but I missed this one. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love her blog. The expressions she can draw on puppy faces are so SPOT ON. I swear my dog must be simple dog's cousin. There are days she makes the exact same faces. You know what would be awesome? An ALOT nail design. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I read this and that "alot" blog post. Only the other day in my pedantic pants persona I corrected a nail polish blogger I like for posting on facebook that MTV was making her "loose" faith in future generations. Of course I had to remark that bad spelling was making me "lose" faith in future generations. Maybe it was my lack of a smiley or a lol even though I jokingly signed off as Miss Pedantic Pants but she jumped down my throat telling me not to be snarky & spelling was her pet peeve too but it is her second language so no need to be rude & make her feel an idiot. Obviously taking a negative attitude when none intended was my retort. Others joined in telling me to shut it, accusing me of internet balls. I was upset at a blogger I like not liking me but I can't let it go so I replied once more. If people don't correct the deterioration of the English language, I might cry "alot" (no lol!) Perhaps I'll get over the upset next week :(
